Vins et Volailles

Saint-Ouen (Paris)

« Throwing bottles of delicious wine in the face of the patriarchy » : the plan of Fleur Godart and the 100% female band of Vins et Volailles is clear. Through their Cuvées Militantes, they question the place left to women and minorities in the very reactionary wine world.

At the dawn of a more ethical and egalitarian society, the wine world remains plagued by sexism and inequality. Macho, paternalistic and backward, it is slow to deconstruct itself and poses problems on all levels: perpetuation of prejudice and discrimination, poor representation of women and minorities in the milieu, or the proliferation of problematic labels.

It is this observation of an old world that needs to be refreshed at all costs that motivated Fleur Godart and her team to “make the label a feminist space, committed to the fight against all oppressions. To make essential militant notions exist on the wine list “.

Fleur Godart is the founder of Vins et Volailles, which, as the name suggests, is initially a company that seeks out quality bottles and chickens. In 2020, surrounded by her three partners Louise Los, Marine Philomen Roux and Lisa Le Postec, she decided to create these Cuvées Militantes, in close and benevolent collaboration with talented winemakers such as Athénaïs de Béru, Julien Albertus, and many others to come.

A smart and necessary approach that we are very proud to support and that proves that you can start changing the world by drinking!
